Peter Thorpe
Peter Thorpe has been an illustrator and designer since 1976. Although specializing in book covers, he developed his Rocket Painting series while working as Creative Director of the Space Frontier Foundation (1988 – 2008) and continues the series to this day.
Peter Thorpe's space paintings all have a number of things in common: bright colours, bold shapes, random patterns, planets and rockets.
Use his work to inspire your own rocket/space themed art work. I've included a video below to give you some inspiration or you could use your own creative approach. You could even use 'Paint' on your computer to create some digital art.
