Be inspired to believe, achieve and succeed together

Computing

This week I'd like you to consider how much time you spend using a screen.  This might be:

- using a tablet

- using a phone

- playing video games

- watching TV

I'd like you to keep a record each day of how much time you have spent using a screen, and what you were doing.  At the end of the week, you'll be able to see some trends.  You might just surprise yourself by how much time you spent looking at a screen!  This might be something you'd like to encourage other members of your family to do as well.

Below you will find some videos to watch about screen time, and statistics from a survey of 8-11 year olds.  How do your screen habits compare with these?  If you add up the average time spent watching TV, going online and playing video games, this is around 28 hours per week - more than a whole day!
