I know lots of you have been really enjoying the coding work that has been set so this week we can continue with the next two lessons which are Turtle and Haunted Scene. They both involve giving instructions for moving a character around a scene. It is also a sneaky opportunity for a little maths. The children will have not covered much rotation work but in order to give the instructions the children need a some understanding of quarter turns and know which way is clockwise/anti-clockwise. Accessing the game and working through alongside them is a good way to explain because they can physically see the turtle making the turns.
