Today, I would like you to write the next paragraph of your newspaper report. This is still part of the main body of the text so will need to include lots of detail and factual information about the events. We will write the start of this paragraph together on Zoom. Use your own notes or my ones below for ideas:
Just like yesterday, I want to see you using lots of parenthesis in your writing; using commas, brackets and dashes to give extra details. Use the help sheet below if you still find parenthesis tricky. It will give you some simple sentences to start with - you just need to add the extra information in the middle of the sentence.
