Moon Landing 1969: Where Were You for the 'Giant Leap'?

Use some of the conversations in this video to give you ideas for quotes for your own newspaper report.

Today, we will write our next paragraph for the main body of our newspaper report. This paragraph will contain quotes from eyewitness, giving us their opinions of the events.

We will work on this in our Zoom lesson and will recap how to use speech punctuation accurately. Use the examples below to help with this.

The quote sheet below will give you some ideas of what your eyewitnesses might have said. You can use these ideas or think of your own - it's up to you!

We will try to use parenthesis to give more information about the people. If this is something you have found tricky this week, use the parenthesis help sheet
