Be inspired to believe, achieve and succeed together

English

As next week is World Book Day, I have chosen one of my favourite books to share with you. We are going to do some written work based upon the ideas in the story and we will be focussing on persuasive writing.

The Day the Crayons Quit

Books Alive! Read aloud Drew Daywalt and Oliver Jeffers hilarious account of the revolt of Ducan's misused and unhappy crayons.

Today, I would like you to familiarise yourself with the story and think about the feelings that are described.

For each coloured crayon, write down their feelings and say how you know they are feeling this way. Use words/phrases the author has used as evidence from the text.

Use a conjunction (so, because) in each sentence.
