Planning your Alien Description
Many people have imagined what the alien creature in the War of the Worlds may have looked like, based on the description in H. G Wells' novel. Here are just a few examples:
Tomorrow, you will be writing (and illustrating) your own description of the alien. Today, we will plan our writing together on Zoom, using the planning sheet below. We will aim to use the figurative writing techniques that we learned last week, to bring our writing to life.
I've included a link to the War of the Worlds text too, so you can 'borrow' some of the ideas and vocabulary that H. G Well used in his description.
