Writing an Alien Description
Join me on Zoom where we will write our first three sentences together!
Your Task:
Use your notes from yesterday to create a super (disgusting) description of the alien. I've included some of my notes from yesterday to give you some ideas. When you've finished, add your own illustration to show how you imagine this creature to look!
Try to include the following things in your writing:
- Expanded noun phrases (adjective, adjective noun)
- Figurative language (similes, metaphors and onomatopoeia)
- Interesting sentence starters (ISPACE - see the sheet below)
Challenge:
If you really want to push yourself today, you could aim to use semi-colons in your writing. This is a greater depth writing objective. Use the sheet below for help with this.
