Words containing hyphens

Hyphens can be used to join a prefix to a root word. This often happens if the prefix ends in a vowel and the root word also starts with a vowel.

This weeks prefixes are re- (meaning: to do again, as in repeat) and co- (meaning: together as in co-operate)

Don't forget to practise on Spelling Shed and join our hive game on Friday at 10am
