Using the instruction below, try recreating the different phases of the moon, using Oreo cookies! (YUM!) If you don't have any Oreos at home, you could just draw and label each of the different moon phases. When you have completed that, use the worksheet to match each moon phase to the correct description.
Over the next month, try keep a 'Moon Diary' using the sheet below. Each night, look up at the moon and record what you see. Can you work out whether the moon is waxing or waning? Can you spot a full moon? On what date does a new moon occur?
