This week we are going to be planting some seeds and setting up a comparative test. The powerpoint presentation refers to sunflower seeds and also daffodil bulbs. It is too late in the year for bulbs now....this is something I usually set up in the Autumn term and look at later. Sunflower seeds are a nice easy one to use and the children do love watching how tall they get! I have popped the adult guidance sheet on for some more additional information about which seeds are good to use.
We will plant cress seeds in the later weeks so it may not be best to use those for the comparative test. You can of course use the same seeds for the comparative test....its just important the seeds used in the 4 different conditions are the same.
