Summer Term

Welcome to the start of the Summer Term.  We’ve never quite started the Summer in this way before but hope that we can make the best of a bad situation and give you lots of fun things to be doing whilst at home.

We hope that you have had rest from work over the Easter holidays and are ready to try some new things.  We will update the website each week with English and Maths work for you to be having a go at and Science, Topic and R.E will be set for the half term as well as all of the fun Purple Mash activities that are online for you.  Keep checking the stars for new activities.

Please don’t feel that you have to work all day every day, it is important that you have some free time too.  We will try and give you some creative art activities to be having a go at too but remember to keep using your imaginations and work on your own art projects around things that interest you.  We would love to see all of the things that you are doing so keep sending your photos.  It is also important to remember that learning at home is very different to being at school so don’t feel bad if you have days where it all seems a bit hard.  Teachers doing home learning with their own children is also very hard!

If you have any questions, please email us and we will answer as soon as we can.  We miss you all a lot and hope that we can all be back at school together soon.  Take care, stay safe and remember to stay at home and keep washing your hands.

Love from

Miss Armstrong, Mrs Parker and Mrs Thompson

Letter from Miss Armstrong and Mrs Parker
On this page you will find everything you need to work and learn at home. English and Maths will be updated each week with new tasks and activities.  All of the stars have links to the different programmes for learning that we use in school.
Make sure you can read and spell all of the Year 1 and Year 2 Common Exception words.  Try to spell them correctly in all of your writing.
