E-Safety is a term which means not only the internet but other ways in which you, as young people, communicate using electronic media, e.g. mobile phones. It helps you to understand the importance of protecting yourself from harm and means that you can use new and developing technologies without risk to yourself or others. The aim of promoting e-safety is to protect you from the consequences of access or use of electronic media, including from bullying, inappropriate behaviour or exploitation by other young people and adults.
Age Limits
Please see below for guidance on age-limits on various social media platforms. All children who attend Trowell C of E are too young to access any of these apps. It is the responsibility of parents to monitor children's access to social media and other apps at home.
Where we become aware of children accessing age-inappropriate social media or other apps, we will contact parents in accordance with our safeguarding responsibility.
