Be inspired to believe, achieve and succeed together

Welcome to Reception!

Mrs Butterworth teaches on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Mrs Homewood teaches on a Wednesday afternoon, Thursday and Friday.

Mrs Thompson is our fabulous teaching assistant!

The children have had an amazing few days with us and we are super impressed with how they have settled into school life!

Unfortunately our transition visits have been put on hold for a few weeks.  We will be in touch with you on Monday 14th September to share our plans for the week beginning Monday 21st September, when all children can return to school following this short period of self-isolation.

During these early weeks of school we would be getting to know your child. Learning in the Early Years comes through child led, playful, practical and meaningful experiences. We know that you will already be doing lots of this at home, e.g. baking, gardening and sharing stories. This is what 'Home Learning' in the Early Years looks like. Please continue to allow your child to explore, create, imagine and engage in lovely play activities.

Over the next few days we will add ideas and activities for you to do at home with your child if you wish.

However, one of the most valuable things you can do to support learning is to share lots of stories, songs and rhymes. Please continue to do this over the next few weeks.

Keep safe, keep active and have lots of fun together.

We will see you very soon.
