Be inspired to believe, achieve and succeed together

School Council

Our School Council represents the views of all our pupils. It gives children the opportunity to make their voices heard and feel part of the whole school community.

Each year the children vote for 2 members of the class to represent them for the year.

This year they would like to improve the school grounds; they will be asking for adult help later in the year.

They have also decided that they would like a school mascot - a bee!  Children in school have been asked to come up with a design.

On Wednesday April 2nd, the school councillors visited the Houses of Parliament (see photos below) and had a guided tour followed by a workshop.

We saw the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace after travelling on the train to St Pancras and travelling on the underground.  They walked down to Trafalgar Square and walked to Westminster and saw Downing Street. A red telephone box caused great excitement!  We had lunch in St James' Park then headed over to the Houses of Parliament. The sun was shining and we had a great day out.
